What makes an AI recommend one GEO service over another
Watching the engines answer questions about our own category is the fastest way to see what they actually reward.
Engines cite whoever put a number on the table. Original measurement — collected, dated and open — gets quoted; recycled explanations of what GEO means do not.
Pages that define GEO, AEO and AI search inline, in one sentence each, get pulled into answers as the definitional source. This is the cheapest win in the category and almost nobody does it.
Structured data, a consistent brand name, and the same claims stated the same way across every page. Engines need to resolve you to a thing before they can recommend you as one.
